Barmount Feedlot is a beef cattle feedlot located in Central North Queensland, Australia. We specialise in custom feeding, producing premium grain-finished cattle for a variety of domestic and international markets.

Barmount Feedlot is a family owned and operated feedlot, accredited with AUS-MEAT under the National Feedlot Accreditation Scheme (NFAS) and the European Union Cattle Accreditation Scheme (EUCAS).

Feed your cattle the smart way -with steam flaked efficiency

Barmount Feedlot has an onsite steam flaking mill which allows us to provide significantly improved feed conversions compared to the more traditional methods of feeding cattle. By heat treating our grain before milling, we can ensure that your cattle are not leaving valuable feed on the pen floor or in the feed bunk. This combined with our rigid feeding regimes ensures that your money spent on feed is converted into a saleable product.

More than just a feedlot

Barmount Feedlot offers a range of services in addition to custom feeding. We are an active purchaser of feeder cattle and commodities direct from local suppliers and trading firms. As a by-product from the feedlot, we also sell bulk and composted manure which is a sustainable and natural fertiliser rich in nutrients. We can also assist with arranging any of your livestock, commodity or manure transport logistics in and out of the feedlot using one of our reputable transport suppliers.
